Monday May 17th vs Silver Lake
The JV team defeated SL by a score of 4 to 3. Mac Neil and Tyler Trudeau combined on the hill for the win. In the 5th inning, Johnny O'Brien executed a nice squeeze bunt, followed by Kyle Dauphinee's 2 out, 2 run single to give the Sailors the leas for good.
Thursday May 13th vs Hingham
The freshman beat Hingham by a score of 11-3. Connor gibbons threw 6 innings, with 3 earned runs. Jake brady took 3 Hit By Pitches, and also some great defense all around.
Wednesday May 12th vs Duxbury
The freshman team had a 7 to 6 win, after being down 6 to 0. Mike Cangemi and Andrew Fiddler pitched well. Chris Smith went 2 for 3, Jake Brady had 2 RBIs and a clutch double. Connor Gibbons had 4 RBIs and 2 clutch doubles.
Friday May 7th vs Cardinal Spellman (Freshman team only)
Connor gibbons threw 6 innings allowing only 2 runs. Some great defense added to the 4 to 2 win. Greg Hurley had 2 RBIs.
Thursday May 6th vs North Quincy
The Freshman team defeated North Quincy by a score of 4 to 1. There were some great defensive plays in the game and Mike Cangemi pitched all 7 innings, giving up only the 1 run. The JV team had a solid 10 to 4 win. Chris LeClair pitched 6 solid innings and almost everyone contributed on offense. The Varsity team lost s tough one, 6 to 4, but still remains above 500 at 7-6.
Wednesday May 5th vs Rockland
The Freshman team had an exciting come-from-behind victory and won at home by a score of 5 to 4. Mike Stewart started off the 7th inning with an double, Dan Buckley had a walk-off hit. The JV team won 6-3 behind a complete game gem from Nick “Juicy” Johnson, who also hit a 2-run home run. The varsity team won 8-3, scoring 7 runs in the top of the seventh.Jordan Jenkins pitched the complete game while David Podurgiel had a huge 3 run triple which put Scituate in the lead for good.
Friday April 30th vs Pembroke
The Freshman team had a big win, with the final score 24 to 0. Chris Smith pitched 3 shut out innings and Connor Gibbons pitched 4 shut out innings. The JV team also defeated the Titans by a score of 9 to 2.
With the Varsity team's 17 to 7 win, it was an overall good day for Scituate. Henry Lockwood pitched 5 innings and Chase Michaud finished the game, pitching 2. Two big home runs by senior captain Jake Shillue.
